Sophia Manoli Guerrero
The miracle of life. These times are so precious. Newborns change so fast. It is important that we capture these moments as close to their Birth Day as possible and continue through their first year.
This is a birth announcement that I designed for my client's Sandra and Manuel. They were so happy with the end results that I will be taking Sophias photo's every three months until she turns one. I am looking foward to seeing her grow into "lil" Miss. Manoli.
These photo's were all taken in the comfort of "lil" Manoli's home so she did not have to worry about a thing.

Marisol and Daren September 1st 2007
Marisol and Daren found this really nice non-denominational church in Old Town San Diego. . Their wedding was very laid back and fun , everything turned out fabulous. Marisol looked like a movie starlett in her flowing wedding gown and Daren was a perfect match.
As a photographer I observe a lot of things about people. One observation I made at their wedding was that Daren is TRULY a gentle man from carrying Marisol down 2 flights of stairs, and grabbing her a chair to sit on, to massaging her feet. They were absolutely a joy to photograph on their special day.
They were right on with their colorful decor and the food they served was mmm mmmm... good. Their favorite Mexican dishes were prepared. And prepared they were, everything was very tasty!! Marisol's cousin made their wedding cake and what a hit it was. She made orange bouganvilla flowers for the cake layers. I thought bouganvilla's was a perfect flower choice.
The Mariachis played their songs through out the whole event. I never heard a rapping mariachi band until this day. It was unexpected and done very well.

The Perfect Dress
The Perfect Dress
Jennifer's wedding day was fast approaching. Nothing could dampen her
excitement, not even her parents' nasty divorce.
Her mother had found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the best
dressed mother-of-the-bride ever.
A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father's new
young wife had bought the exact same dress as her mother.
Jennifer asked her step-mother to exchange it, but she refused.
"Absolutely not.
I look like a million bucks in this dress, and I'm wearing it," she
replied.Jennifer told her mother who graciously said,
"Never mind sweetheart. I'll get another dress.
After all, it's your
special day."
A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous
dress.
When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, "Aren't you
going to return the other dress? You really don't have another
occasion where you could wear it."
Her mother just smiled and replied, "Of course I do, dear. I'm wearing
it to the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding."
NOW I ASK YOU - IS THERE A WOMAN OUT THERE, ANYWHERE, WHO WOULDN'T
ENJOY THIS STORY? SEND IT TO EVERY WOMAN YOU KNOW!!!!
I thought this joke was so appropriate for this blog. Let me hear any other wedding jokes you may have.

Rosanna and Ernest Sunday August 26th 2007
Rosanna and Ernest held their ceremony and reception at Admiral Kidd. One of the most popular places to hold your wedding in San Diego. And there is no question as to why Admiral Kidd is so popular. It's all about the location and the view, you can see practically all of Downtown San Diego from this spot. Rosanna and Ernest not only had a great location the weather could not have been better. It was perfect San Diego wedding weather.
One other thing I am going to bragg about is their florist all I can say is WOW!!! I have never seen anything like it, totally original. Instead of bouquets for the brides maids they carried purses made of green leaf's and colorful flowers. The ring pillow was also made up of unique green flowers, and Rosanna's bouquet was exquiste.

Rosana and Ernest were blessed with perfect weather, a room full of friends and family and of course themselves.
Congratulations you two. See you at the next USANA meeting :).

Nick and Amy August 25th 2007
So it's Monday after a wedding filled weekend!!! I had a blast on my rode trip up to Fallbrook for Nick and Aimee's wedding. 1st we stopped off at Pala Casino/Spa/Resort for some photos of the beautiful bride, getting ready with her family and friends.
Grooms 1st sight of bride. No words, just breathtaking....
Then it was off to a church in Fallbrook to capture Aimee and Nick during their ceremony.
The reception site was at a very sapcious well landscaped home in Fallbrook. I could not imagine a better place to hold a reception for so many people. The home belonged to one of Nicks aunt and uncles.
The reception was a hit from the decor to the D.J and the caterer's serving up italian cuisine. Nick and Aimee pulled off an event that impressed everyone who showed up.
There was a lot of dancing, picture taking, hugs and laughs going on at this event. A lot of love.

Children
This is Kioni my one and only son. I love him so so much. He is quite a character and is my most photographed subject. If you visit back regularly I am sure you will see a lot of this little guy.
This my marshmellow photo of Kioni.
I remember when I was in college and in the process of making my childrens photography portfolio one of my friends said babies reminded him of marshmellows.
